14. RECEIVING OUR COVENANT, GOD-GIVEN LANDS AND HOMES
Now by the covenant blood of Jesus shed for us in Jesus name, Lord, in order to accomplish this call, we need and stand upon Your Word for our land and buildings, for our ministry buildings as well as for our personal homes. You told us to owe no man but to love him. So, we receive Your Word, Lord, in Deut 15:4-5. There shall be no poor among us, for in the land the Lord our God is giving us to possess as our inheritance. You are richly blessing us, in the land which the Lord our God gives us. (Amos 9:15) In Jn 10:10, Jesus said He came that I and my partners might have life and that we might have it more abundantly. So, that makes Deut 8:7-10 and Ezek. 47:12 ours. For the Lord our God is bringing us into a good land, a land of brooks of water, of fountains and springs flowing forth in valleys and hills; a land of wheat and barley, and vines and fig trees and pomegranates, a land of olive trees and honey, a land in which my partners and I shall eat foot without shortage and lack nothing in it. the Lord our God is bringing us into a land whose stones are iron, and out of whose hills we can dig copper. When we have eaten and are full, then we shall bless the Lord our God for the good land which He has given to us. 1 Chron. 16:18 says to us that You will give the land of Canaan, the measured portion of our possessions and inheritance. (Deut 6:18-19) Deut 6:10-11 is where our Lord God brings us into the land that He swore to our Fathers, to give us a land with large flourishing cities we did not build, houses filled with all kinds of good things that we did not have to provide, wells we did not dig, and vineyards and olive groves we didn't plant. For Ps 112:2-3 says Your seed are mighty upon the earth: the generation of the upright are blessed. Wealth and riches are in our house: our right standing with God endureth forever. Then in Gen. 12:1 and Acts 7:3, You, Father, said that You would show us the land. In Ps 127:1 You said unless the Lord builds a house, the work of the builders is useless. (Deut15:4-5) However, there should be no poor among us, for in the land the Lord our God is giving us to possess as our inheritance. You do richly bless us as we fully obey You, Lord. We apply the covenant blood of Jesus and in Jesus' name, Father, we give thanks that You have granted and given us 2 Sam 7:10-11. You said, You will appoint a place for Your people and are planting us, that we do dwell in a place of our own, to be moved no more. Wicked men shall afflict us no more, as formerly. You do cause us to rest from all our enemies. Also You, Lord, declared to us that You have made us a house. (Ps 122:7) In Isa. 32:18, You said, Father, Your people shall dwell in a peaceable habitation, in safe dwellings, and in quiet resting places. You told us in Is 54:2 to enlarge the place of our tent, and let the curtains of our habitations be stretched out. You said spare not, but lengthen our cords and strengthen our stakes. So we ask You, and give thanks to You, Lord, by the covenant blood of Jesus that You stretch our vision, Father, to think Your thoughts toward us. You are giving us Your vision. You are letting Mal 3:12 to seen in us that when the nations see us that they are calling us blessed to Your glory. (1 Chron 17:25-27) For You, O my God, have told Your servants that You will build them a house; there, Your servants have found courage and confidence to pray this before You. And now, Lord, You are God, and have promised this good thing to Your servants; Therefore may it please You to bless the houses of Your servants that it may continue before You forever; for what You have blessed, O Lord, is blessed forever. (Ps 122:7) Now by the authority of the Word: land be! Buildings be! Houses be, in Jesus' name! Angels, you see to it that you set the crooked way straight before us. Harvesting angels, bring in our harvest in Jesus name. (Gen. 13:15-17) Yes, we give thanks to You, Lord! You have not handed us over to the enemy but have set our feet in a spacious place. No more do we have cramped spaces for us, but large habitations. (Ps 31:8) Thank You, Father. |
