16. THE RECEIVING OF OUR COVENANT OF THE NEW THINGS, NOT OLD WORN OUT JUNK
Father, You said in Heb. 11:1, that "Now faith is the substance of things..." Well, if now faith is the substance, that makes it new, so good things are new things. In Rev 21:5, You said that You make all things new, old things have passed away; behold, all things have become new, and in 2 Cor 5:17, that if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation; old things have passed away; behold, all things have become new. Jer 31:22. For the Lord has created a new thing in the earth. In Lam 3:22_24, You said through the Lord's mercies we are not consumed, because His compassion's fail not. They are new every morning; great is Your faithfulness, Father. The Lord is my portion say our souls. Therefore, we will hope in Him. Hallelujah! You even told us in Is. 43:18-21, not to remember the former things, nor consider the things of old. Behold, You will do a new thing; now it shall spring forth; shall we not know it? You will even make a road in the wilderness and rivers in the desert. The beast of the field will honor You, the jackals and the ostriches, because You give waters in the wilderness and rivers in the desert, to give drink to Your people, Your chosen, this people You have formed for Yourself. We shall declare Your praise, Lord. You ask us in Josh 18:3 how long until we possess the land. I answer and say, "Now, Lord!" We proclaim Your Word now. We receive all of Your promises now. We have Your glory in all that we do, have, and say now by the power of the covenant blood and the name of Jesus. In Joel 2:26, You said that we shall eat in plenty, and be satisfied, and praise the name of the Lord our God, that hath dealt wondrously with us. And we as Your people shall never be ashamed. Even David in Ps 37:25 said that he was young, and after He was old, he had not seen the righteous forsaken, nor his children begging for bread. Then in Pv. 10:22, You also said that the blessing of the Lord, it maketh rich, and that You add no sorrow with it. And in Ps 21:1, we shall not be in want. You even said, Father, in Joel 2:25 that You would restore to us the years that the locust hath eaten. So by the authority of Your Word, Father, we obey and receive Luke 18:7-8 where You ask us "now shall not God bring about justice for His elect, who cry to Him day and night, and will bring about justice for us speedily?" However, when the Son of Man comes, will He find persistence in the faith on the earth? (Gal 6:9; Is. 40:31; Rev 3:11; Rev 22:7, 12, 20; Amos 9:13)
