 Chapter Twenty Five

              UFO MUSEUM AND RESEARCH CENTER

International UFO Museum & Research Center

"Surely they won't kill us. How will they find out what they know?" Laura stared at them, blue eyes wide, tenderly touching her newly bandaged arm after a brief trip to the emergency room.
After a night of rest and a hearty breakfast the trio parked in the UFO museum parking lot.
"It is creatures in those ships that are the most dangerous. They can pull answers out of you whether you want to give them or not and they don't even have to use torture." Phil's mouth tightened as he spoke. "We have to get what we know to as people as possible before they have a chance to do anything to stop us. We'll talk to Glen Donalds. He has some connections. I'm sure he can help us.
                                                  XXX
They told their story to Glenn at the Museum. In addition, they gave him the location of the tunnel and cavern where the artifacts could be found.
Glenn held his head thoughtfully. He cleared his throat and looked at all of them for a moment. "Were you followed?"
"I'm sure we were," Dan said. "They stay out of sight, but I know they're there. I can feel it."
"I thought as much. Come to my office. I'm going to make some phone calls and ask some others here in town to come right over. I want you to repeat your story to them. One of them is a reporter. The only way we can get the story on TV is to do it without warning anyone. Perhaps some of our computer experts can do that. We have a Web site. We'll put it on that right away before we can be stopped."
"Won't the government try to discredit you?" Phil asked.
"Of course. They always do. Right now I think they're a little distracted, which may be to our advantage for the moment." His audience all looked puzzled.
"Didn't you see the news this morning? There's been another earthquake in California. It was between 7 and 8 on the Richter Scale. The Baja peninsula is sinking into the sea and the coastline has moved some five miles inland. Thousands of people have died and they're still expecting after shocks. Earthquakes have been reported in Tennessee, Kentucky, Arkansas and Missouri. They're not as severe, but the Mississippi River is widening. People are terrified, claiming it's the end of the world."
"Not the end of the world, but we are about to begin the tribulation predicted in Scripture," Phil said.   "That means the catching away or the rapture of all believers is very close. We're running out of time."
Glenn nodded in agreement. "You may be right."
Laura looked dismayed. "What's the use of doing all this if the whole world is going to be destroyed again?"
"That's what I'd like to know, too. " Dan seated himself on one of the chairs in the office as Glenn made phone calls between using his walky-talky to notify people who worked in the museum. Glenn had his computer on and typed in the information, putting it on the Internet as he talked on the phone.
The others seated themselves in the office as they waited for Phil to answer. Phil began: "The end is not yet. The Rapture or catching away of the saints must happen first.
"In Revelation it states that a sixth of the population in a certain area is destroyed or a fourth in another. It never says all...never. There will be people who live through it all. If one wanted to calculate the numbers killed according to what the population in the world is now, I suppose it could be done easily enough, especially with a computer. I believe most of the devastation will be in the European countries and the MIddle East. Not only natural disasters, but political disasters, wars, and disease will be concentrated there."
"Oy yeah. What about the earthquakes right in our own country?" Dan folded his arms across his chest and tipped his chair back.
"We've always had those. Our weather has been changing for the worse for several years. This country is never mentioned directly in Scripture. Maybe it's because we're so busy during that time cleaning up our own mess, we won't have time to side with the anti-Christ or anyone else. I can hope that, but it's probably not true. This country will what what it has to, to survive in the tribulation, but before the saints are rescued out of here I know in my heart there's going to be such a sweeping ingathering of new believers there won't be that many people left behind in this country.  I pray that is the case.
"Anyway we have scientists experimenting with the DNA of dinosaurs. When they succeed they'll unleash another problem on the world, this country especially. Dinosaurs aren't called dinosaurs in the Bible. They're referred to as Behemoth in Job chapter forty verses fifteen through twenty-four and Leviathan, whose description in Job chapter forty-one, makes him sound like Godzilla!
"The Scripture promises that His faithful believers won't be here for all that. With all that's happening now, the Rapture has to be very close. It's our job to tell what we know to as many as possible so that they, too, will become believers in Christ and escape the seven years of hell on earth that seems to be almost upon us."
Glenn hung up the phone. the office had now filled with museum workers, the administrator of the museum, and others. Those he had called from others parts of the city were arriving, too. Roswell, being a fairly small city despite its' claim to fame; people could arrive anywhere within a few minutes.
Glenn waited a few more minutes for his now crowded office to fill to capacity. Satisfied that everyone had arrived, he introduced the three explorers. Dan took the floor and told their story, with the others filling in the gaps as he went. When they had finished, Glenn tapped his pencil on his desk for attention. The crowded room had become noisy with startled and angry conversation, but out of respect for Glenn, everyone in the room became silent.
"Teams need to go to that cavern now while we have a chance to verify this before the government can stop us. Divide up into groups of two. They can't chase us all. Some can be decoys and to to other sites to mislead. Let's hope these earthquakes are keeping everyone too busy to pay attention."
The office emptied as quickly as it had filled. Dan rose from his chair and shook Glenn's hand. "What can we do?"
"Let's get your faces and story on this computer and send it all out on the Web. One of the learning channels is doing a documentary on the museum and it's due to air in a few days. They have a Web site. We'll send all this to them, too. We can take it from here. Go back to your families. We can reach you if we need to... and call if you have any trouble. I'll get the word out."
"Many still won't believe it," Glenn warned.
"But perhaps many will who wouldn't have otherwise. Every soul is important and precious to God." Laura said. "Jeremiah told us about apathy. It's a terrible thing. It can kill. This one story may not be enough."
"But we'll have artifacts," Dan insisted.
Glenn Donalds sighed. "Those have a way of disappearing. Didn't you watch the
Ragsdale film?"
Phil nodded. Behind the scenes government and military groups can make white look black. Those groups have lied to the public so many times no one will believe them either. It's up to God Himself to make us sound more credible."
Glenn led them to the door. "Just pray that ship doesn't come back and try to stop you. You have two deadly groups after you, you know, not just one."
"God will be with us," Laura said brightly.
Glenn nodded. "You're going to need all the protection you can get.
                                                         XXX
They watched TV at Phil's house as they packed to return to Wisconsin. It showed scenes taken from helicopters along the new West Coast. Hundreds of survivors who had managed to swim to safety were shown weeping as teams sent in to help from other parts of the country, put blankets around them and helped them to temporary shelter in tents and buildings. "Jeremiah would think he was looking at war survivors if he was here," Laura shook her head, horrified.
Dan looked on in helpless frustration. "I wish there was something we could do for those people."
"The best thing we can do is spread the Word. The Web will let the whole world know without the bias of media interference." Phil handed Laura a tissue for her tears. "This UFO technology and belief in them as gods by some people will be part of the One World Religion. It's already being set up. Getting this Word out is so important. God will have to touch the hearts who are earnestly seeking the truth so they won't be deceived by all the lies." Phil closed his suitcase with a bang, then added, "We need to rent a car for a while, then switch to a bus or something. We need to vary our travel, even if we have to hitchhike, so it won't be so easy to trace."
"I already thought of that," Dan said grimly. "We have a car parked outside. One of the museum workers loaned it to us. We're to drop it off in a certain place about half way there so he'll know where to find it and continue on in an old truck someone will leave for us."
"We're already thinking like fugitives. Jeremiah would say that's a good thing, I suppose." Laura said.
"I am curious about something, Phil. I thought the One World Religion would be headed up by this Hitler type person called the anti-Christ. Where do UFOs and aliens come into the picture?"
"Aliens are demons in disguise, but I would like to find out how they leave dead bodies behind. Jeremiah said we'd find out later. As such they are from inner space, not outer space. What really matters is who we are and how to fight them in the name of Jesus.
"The One World Religion will eventually be headed up by the anti
Christ, but not until the middle of the seven years. In the beginning it will serve his purpose to have everyone believing the same way; get everyone under the same roof, you might say. The beginning One Word Religion (New Age) will focus on the hatred of Jews and anyone else who believes in God. This religion will exterminate them in all sorts of horrible ways. This will be exactly what  the devil wants. He will cause people to worship the god of forces mentioned in Daniel eleven, verses thirty eight and thirty nine. I think this is where UFOs and aliens might come into the picture. Many will believe because they will think many UFOnauts were taken up by UFOs at the beginning of the tribulation. Satan always mimics what God does, but with dark motives. People will think they are the ones who went in the Rapture. Those who go up in the ships will find out differently, but it will be too late. There will be no turning back.
"The crowning moment for the anti-Christ will be when he will destroy the leaders of this combination religious, scientific psi group, claiming himself to be God. He'll be able to pull it off because he'll have all the power of Satan and his angels behind him.
Dan slid behind the wheel. Phil pointed the way they should go and they were fifty miles down the road before anyone spoke again.
Finally Dan broke the silence. "And we are going to be part of the army that comes back and wipes them all out, even these so-called aliens." Dan laughed. "I'm beginning to enjoy this."
