Chapter Twenty
Four
BLINDED
BY THE LIGHT
Jeremiah found himself drifting up out of
his body. Peace flooded, surrounded him, enfolded him. He looked down and saw his body
being held by Dan. saddened by the shock and grief he saw in his friends, he tried to tell
them he was all right, but no one heard him.
He heard a familiar voice just above him.
"Jeremiah, you must come with me. There is another
great deception you must be made aware of."
"Salamas is that you?"
"Indeed!"
"Will I get to see the Messiah...and my family. What
about my parents, my sister and brothers?"
"Another time. You won't be staying. Take my hand. I
have much to show you."
They sped through a rainbow of colors toward a great light.
As they drew near they slowed and stopped.
"We need to go into the light, yes?"
"No, you must watch."
As Jeremiah watched in fascination he saw dozens of souls
going into the light. They were smiling joyous, amazed.
"This is, indeed, a happy scene!"
Salamas nodded in the negative. "Look more
closely." He pointed to a place behind the light.
There behind the light where the souls coming toward it
could not see, the handsome face of Lucifer smiled in triumph. Demons mimicking loved ones
long dead, met the souls and encouraged them into the light. Just beneath the surface of
the loving faces, Jeremiah could see the ugly demons grinning in derision.
"They only see what they want to see." Salamas
answered his unspoken question. They are all souls who will return and tell everyone about
how there is nothing to fear in death. Some will even have powers to heal or
precognition and other counterfeits of the gifts of the Spirit. Some will even start new
religions.
"Can you guess what the outcome will be?"
Jeremiah shook his head sadly. "People will think they
do not need God and that a belief in the Son of God is not necessary. Everyone goes to
Heaven anyway. Satan, the deceiver, imitates the angels of light.
"It is the most subtle and dangerous deception of all.
Those who go all the way through the light and stay find out, too late, what is really
going on, but they never go back to tell their story. You must read the story of Lazarus
and the rich man in Luke chapter sixteen. The rich man was not allowed to go back and warn
his brothers. It tells of a great gulf that was fixed between hell and Paradise that no
one could cross. Now the gulf is greater. Those that were once in the compartment beneath
the Earth called Paradise have been transferred by the triumphant resurrection of Jesus to
the planet called Heaven."
"But will people believe me?"
"Most will not. It will assure those who come to
accept Christ as their Savior. Others will choose to believe those who return from the
false heaven Satan presents."
"Why do people choose to accept a lie instead of
truth?"
"It is more convenient. It calls for no commitment on
their part, no responsibility toward God. In their pride they think they can do for
themselves without God. Do you see?"
"Yes, I see."
"Come. There are other things you must see before you
go back."

Laura wiped her eyes. What are we going to do? Are we going
to leave him here?"
Dan sat in stunned silence with Jeremiah's head resting in
his lap.
"This can't be all of it," Phil replied. God
surely did not bring him here to die. I just know this isn't the end of it. Let's pray;
all of us together. We must claim life for Jeremiah in Jesus name.
They all prayed together, then shouted in unison,
Jeremiah's name as Jesus once did when He called his friend, Lazarus, to come forth from
the dead.
Jeremiah stirred slightly. They shouted his name again and
he opened his eyes. His white face flooded with color as God, the Creator, replaced the
blood in his body and healed his wound.
Jeremiah sat up and smiled broadly. "I have much to
tell you."
"Thank God for His wonderful miracles," Phil
breathed, his eyes brimming with tears.
Dan helped Jeremiah stand then stood with his hands on
Jeremiah's shoulders looking at him intently. "I have seen many miracles, but this is
the best one yet."
Laura threw herself into Jeremiah's arms hugging him and
laughing for joy. She had no words.
After rejoicing and hugging they sat back down near the
ruby chair.
"You've had the greatest of all adventures," Phil
said. "Tell us what you saw."
Jeremiah told them about the light and Salamas.
"Good ol' Salamas," Dan chuckled.
Phil added, "I've often wondered what people who died
and came back were really seeing. I could never understand how Godless people could be
seeing Heaven like that. I'm glad to learn the truth, because it just didn't add up. The
Bible tells us that Satan and his minions can appear as angels of light, deceiving
many."
"But, go on," Laura encouraged. "There's
more isn't there, Jeremiah?"
He nodded and continued. "When Lucifer was cast out of
Heaven, meteors, comets and earthquakes destroyed the Earth. The great water wall fell
causing a sudden world wide flood. Everything on Earth died. No survivors. The flood
turned to ice, causing the great ice age. Now what the Scripture says about the world
before makes sense. The Earth became with form and void or empty, because of this terrible
war and destruction caused by God's wrath against Lucifer and his followers. The
Atlanteans disappeared.
"The other races
involved were punished in other ways. They lost their voices. God speaks and things are
created and happen. All had that power to a lesser degree given to them by God. He took
that away. Thought is powerful, but it cannot create without the spoken word. That has
been lost to them. They used to have beautiful voices. Everything they loved was taken
from them. They have been banned from space. What we see are demons mimicking them. They
have a way of having physical bodies, but you will learn about that later.
"Even the way they take in nourishment changed.
Eating is pleasurable for us, but not for them They have no joy, no laughter, no music.
They are trying to regain their former technology and the fallen angels are forbidden to
give it to them. The fallen angels are now confined to this planet and its atmospheric
heavens or are confined beneath the Earth. Here is their problem. They cannot tell anyone
about the ancient technologies, but they can lead people who live on this planet to find
them and then rule them through those technologies as they once did the Atlanteans.
The Earth remained without form and destroyed for a long
time. I was not allowed to know how long. It is a mystery for now.
God started His new creation with Adam. You know the rest
except..."
""What is it? Tell us," Laura pleaded.
"Yeah, don't stop now," Dan added.
He showed me things to come as well. He showed me the
asteroid heading for Earth that is far out in space now, but will hit sometime in the
future and also a comet. He also caused me to see great creatures who are now asleep, that
will awaken during the time of Jacob's Trouble. Behemoths of the Earth and Leviathan of
the great deep are waiting for the signal to awaken. In the book of Revelation, does it
not say something about many will be killed by the beasts of the Earth?"
""It does say that, but I believe it is one of
those Scriptures most just skip over and don't realize what it is saying just like David
didn't kill just one giant. He and his men killed the rest of Goliath's family. They got
rid of the last of the giants. That is in Second Samauel chapter twenty-one if I remember
correctly." Phil pushed an unruly lock of hair out of his eyes.
Laura gazed at him with admiring eyes and moved closer.
Dan grunted impatiently. "How soon is the rapture? How
do we, as God's masterpiece, change things in whatever time we have left?"
""No one knows the time of the rapture, but it
must be very soon, because that must take place before the time of Jacob's Trouble. God
will be the one to change things. We must pray for wisdom and a listening heart to know
what to do.
"There are other time markers besides the Sphinx and
the three pyramids to prove the existence of a civilization before Adam."
"What?" Dan spoke first. "Where are
they?"
"There is a place called, Bimini, and other places in
the areas off the coasts of Florida, Puerto Rico, Bermuda and the remnants of ancient
civilizations high in mountains at key points around the world. The world looked so
different then and memory of what I saw is getting dim. That is all I can tell you."
"Phil, do you think the church will accept what we
have learned?" Laura leaned her head against his shoulder and waited for his answer.
"A few. It's going to be our mission to preach it
until people do believe it, but I think what we have learned is more for those in the UFO
realm who talk about ancient civilizations, aliens and such. It explains a lot. Most
Christians don't care as long as they know Jesus cares for them and their destination is
Heaven, because they put their trust and faith in Him. But God is not willing that any
should perish. He wants the UFO crowd informed so they can base their decision for or
against Him on greater knowledge. After we present what we know, they will be without
excuse.
"Others don't need this knowledge to decide for or
against the Savior. There is only one road to God and that's through the blood of Jesus,
but God has many roads to reach us. More and more people are being pulled into the UFO
deception.
"UFOs exist, but not in the way they think. We now
know they are demons and fallen angels and from inner space. I'm just curios how they
leave dead bodies behind in these crashes.
"Without the discernment given by God none of us would
know who is who. The Men in black are fallen angels. Some are men letting people believe
they are the Men in Black. We are surrounded on all sides by ranks of evil. It is up to us
to recognize them and stay close to God and claim His protection."
"So these UFO guys, the Men in Black, and government
agents keep following us. They want us to find their answers for them?" Dan stood up
and went toward the camouflaged exit.
"That sounds right, but there is so much more we need
to know. Right now, Dan, you need to come and listen and commit to memory the information
contained in the black box. I will make a choose according to the diagram in the black
box. Push it."
The screens sprang back to life. The scenes showed global
weather changes, terrible storms, Earthquakes, tidal waves; all destructive forces. The
pictures sped by at increasing speed. They saw mounds of dead bodies, dead from disease,
animal attacks in addition to being victims of the global devastation. The face of one man
kept reappearing.
"He is even worse than Hitler, I am thinking,"
Jeremiah said. "It is the time of Jacob's Trouble." He took a deep breath.
"It is in Ezekiel, Isaiah and other parts of the Hebrew Bible. There is very little
time left. What ever the Lord our God has for any of us to do, we must do it
quickly."
"It's also graphically described in the book of
Revelation," Phil said. "This doesn't argue what God says. It confirms it.
People have to understand that God is not kidding around. He is the One in charge. Too
many are following after a worship of aliens and devils and whatever else sounds good to
them at the time."
Dan sighed. "How are we going to convince anyone?
We're not great scientists or anything. People will only believe what they want to
believe, whether it is truth or not. Even if we have all this proof in our hands, how will
we get that news to all the people of the Earth?" He threw up his hands in
exasperation. "There are others determined to stop us even if we do find a way. Don't
forget what happened to Schultz."
"If God be for us, who can be against us?" Phil
smiled. "He'll show us how when the time comes."
"The men following us will never give up, especially
now that the ones in the hole have told them what they know and that we are still
alive." Jeremiah reached into an inside pocket in his pants and pulled out his
yarmulke. He placed it carefully on his head. "I am going home. I am missing my
family very much and my job here is done. The rest of the matter is up to the three of
you. I will pray for you at the Wailing Wall in Jerusalem. I will pray for you to have
much wisdom Having knowledge is not always the same as having wisdom The people of
Atlantis and other planets found that out too late. Lucifer used their love of technology
to distract and destroy them. He is now trying to do the same to us."
They all joined hands and raised their voices in prayer.
Jeremiah ended with, "Blessed are You, Oh Lord our God, King of the Universe.
Omain" and the others added "Amen."
"King of the Universe! I like that!" Dan said.
"It takes on a whole new meaning now. If Shadow is feeling up to it, we need to start
back. Wherever we go they'll find us, so we may as well get used to the idea." Dan
frowned. "I'm just wondering if this will endanger the lives of our families."
"If they are like Nazis, you have reason to fear. All we can
do is leave it in God's hands. There is nothing else we can do." Jeremiah said.
"I feel better than I have in a long time, but
remember, I cannot go with you. You should go now. I must return home."
Phil shook Jeremiah's hand solemly. "We will miss you,
but, of course, you must go. In Proverbs it says that "man makes his plans, but God
directs his steps." We all must remember that. He wouldn't entrust us with so much
knowledge and then desert us.
"Omain, omain. You are right," Jeremiah said then
stepped back into the shadows and waved them on.
The trio filed out through the tunnel exit. The ride back
to Roswell went uneventfully and quietly with each lost in his and her own thoughts.
